Crock Pot Beef Roast Recipe

I tried this recipe today and it was very good! Goes well with mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs beef roast
1/2 tsp pepper
2 garlic cloves minced
1/2 package of onion soup mix
2 tsps Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp steak sauce
3 carrots sliced
2 celery diced
1 green onion chopped
1 yellow onion sliced
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. tomato juice

Instructions

1. Cut roast into portions. Brown w/ veg oil
2. Slice onion into rings. Cut up other veggies, place in bottom of crock pot. Sprinkle beef with pepper, garlic and onion soup. Place on top of veggies.
3. Mix steak sauce, Worcestershire sauce with water and tomato in small bowl. Pour over meat.
4. Turn crockpot on high for 30 minutes. Turn to low and cook for 7 - 9 hours.

New Moon Was Awesome!

So last night I went with some friends to see New Moon. I couldn't quite convince Jeremy to go with me (I made him watch Twilight and he thought it was pure torture!). We got to the theater an hour early and waited in this huge line that wrapped around the hallway of the Century Rio. Surprisingly, the crowd's average age was probably 20, 25. Maybe the younger crowd went on Thursday or Friday?

Overall, New Moon was a well done film. The movie was almost exactly like the book, which was good for those fans who've read the book.

Taylor Lautner did an awesome job of playing Jacob. He looked amazing too! Seeing him several times shirtless in the movie made waiting in line worth it.

On the other hand, Robert Pattinson shirtless was terrible. They should have made him work out too because I just kept thinking, "Gross!"

Overall, it was a great movie. I can't wait to see Eclipse. It was my favorite book by far!

My Favorite Online Wedding Vendors

I hope this posting helps future brides find the perfect wedding vendors. In New Mexico, it was hard to find things I needed without paying a huge price. Fortunately, I found several online vendors. I have listed those below with their website and photos of what they provided.

Can't Wait for Twilight New Moon!

So I feel like a 14-year old school girl... I am totally excited for the new Twilight Movie "New Moon".

The second and third books are my favorite from Stephenie Meyer's series, so I have been anxiously awaiting this movie. My obsession began after watching Twilight one day after it came in the mail from my Blockbuster account queue. I was hooked - totally obsessed with the developing romance between Edward and Bella. After that I went out and bought all the books, read them in a span over a couple of weeks.

I must say, what draws me to "New Moon" is how dark it will be. The whole movie is focused on experiencing a first heartbreak. I hope Kristin Stewart doesn't let us down as she portrays Bella in her darkest emotions!

I'm also fascinated with the character Jacob, played by Taylor Lautner. He is looking pretty good these days!

***Spoiler Alert***

I am quite depressed that Bella never goes for Jacob. I think Edward sort of embodies the "bad boy" that all girls eventually date (or are drawn to date). The guy you like, but you know he's no good for you. Jacob is the kind of guy that is right for Bella - safe, stable, secure. It's a shame it doesn't work out. I hope this movie at least does a good job of showing the relationship and chemistry between these two.

I already bought the new soundtrack. Not as good as the first in my opinion, but some great songs from Death Cab for Cutie, Muse, and more.

I hope the movie is not disappointing!

Happy Halloween!

This year I decided to dress up as Flo, the Progressive Insurance lady from all of the commercials. I made my apron with an iron on transfer, wore a headband, and made a tricked out name tag.

Everyone at work really liked my costume! Probably one of my best costume ideas yet!

Jeremy and I decided to help Future Foundations with their Halloween Carnival & Haunted House, so we missed all of the trick-or-treaters at our place, but saw some really cool costumes at the event.
