We all knew how it was going to end... so why does it still disappoint me so much? I guess I'm just tired of seeing the nice, respectable, people NOT get chosen in the Bachelor finales. Last night Jake picked Vienna - surprise, surprise - instead of my top pick, Tenley. I don't want to bash Vienna, because she's still a person, I guess I'm just sad that it seems like the "nicest" girl never gets picked.

Is it that perhaps Vienna is a totally different person than portrayed on TV? Or is it that Vienna seemed to arouse Jake in more of sexual, playful way than Tenley? (That's what it looked like to me anyway!) It would be so nice if for just once, I'd watch a finale of the Bachelor and say to myself, "Wow, I sure am glad he picked so-and-so, she seems like a real keeper! That would have been my pick." But it NEVER seems to happen. At least it wasn't like last season when Jason dumped Melissa on national television.

Every season I say I'm not going to watch, but I do. So I'm anxious to see what happens next with Ali's season. I also wonder how long Jake & Vienna will last. No offense to them, but I give it 6 months maximum... Once St. Lucia and the romantic dates are long gone, I wonder how the relationship will go...
