When I started this blog I had no idea what I would write about or what direction it would take. Now, one year later, I felt it was time for a new name. I decided that "Marcie's Blog" was not very creative or original.

I wanted something to encompass my life, personality, and topics I blog about the most. I decided on "The Simple Things." It's the simple things in life that bring me the most joy. Things like watching my husband bathe our daughter, cuddling with my baby every morning, having a family BBQ, and playing with our pugs.

So I hope my readers like the new name and stay tuned for a newly designed blog coming soon!
