So, now that I'm totally obsessed with baby stuff, I come across a lot of cool baby products. One of these is the Gro Baby Cloth Diaper system.

I have been debating trying to use cloth diapers once the baby is born. I used to picture cloth diapering as more of a hippie thing, but when I started doing the research, they have some pretty neat systems out there that save a ton of money and are way more comfortable for baby.

My only worry is that I will not be able to keep up with the laundry. I don't keep up with the laundry now, without baby!

I'm interested in this Gro Baby System. You they are adjustable, fit baby from birth up to 35 lbs, and come in lots of cool colors. You get the outer shells, the inner soakers, and extra boosters for nightime sleep. It seems pretty neat.

 Anyone use this system? Or any cloth diapering system?

I went for my monthly check up on Friday and everything is still looking good! Baby is about 11 inches long and almost 1 pound! I'm feeling lots of movement, which is great!

I had an ultrasound on Monday. We decided not to find out the sex, so it will be a surprise! Everything was good except I have a low-lying placenta. My doc said these usually move up as you get further along, so they are going to check it again in 6 weeks. This means I get another ultrasound and more pictures of baby. They couldn't get a good 3D picture this time because it's still pretty early and baby was moving a lot during the ultrasound. Hopefully next time I'll get a good 3D picture.

This week I am 20 weeks! It marks the halfway point in the pregnancy.

I am excited to report that I started feeling the baby a couple weeks ago. It was Tuesday, January 26 and I was in a meeting. It felt almost like a muscle spasm at first. I felt it a couple of times, but wasn't sure it was the baby. After that as each day has gone by I've felt it more and more, so I know it's baby! It's so neat feeling the baby inside. I can't wait til Jeremy can feel it too!

I am also happy to report I am finally gaining weight. I've gained about 7 pounds. Some days I feel like I could eat everything in the refrigerator, I am so hungry!


We ordered a crib/changing table (Sorelle Princeton 4 in 1). It came in and we put it together last night. It looks so good! We ordered it off of a website called www.albeebaby.com. My mother-in-law recommended the site to me and they have great prices. We got the crib for about $50 less than it was priced at Babies R Us and it came with free shipping.

I am also ordering our nursery bedding & decor from this site as well. Once we get that stuff in I'll take pictures of the nursery all set up :-).

On the 15th we'll get our 3D ultrasound. However, we are NOT finding out the sex of the baby. We want it to be a surprise! The suspense is driving me crazy, but I think it will make the delivery that much more exciting.
