Jenna's 21 month Update

I was slacking....this post is a month late...oops! Miss Jenna turned 21 months old on April 2nd!

Sizes: My midget is still a shorty...only size 4/5 shoes, size 4 diapers, size 18 month clothes.

Funny stuff she says: "I love you," "Momma like it too?" or "Daddy like it too?" "I don't want it," "I lost my Daddy," (what she says when daddy leaves to work or gym), "My baby," "Hi Nattie Boo! She's so happy!" "I lost my hat!" "Not working momma, I fix it!"

Developmentally: She can count to about 5 and she knows her colors most of the time. She knows most animals and several shapes. We need to work on fine motor like cutting & drawing. I also want to start teaching her more about picking up after herself. She likes picking out her own clothes. She's finally able to climb little slides by herself. She is trying to master jumping. She likes rolly pollies and bugs. She's enjoyed watching Puss in Boots lately.

Stuff we've done: Jenna sat through her first movie at the theater with her Nana - the Muppets. We also took her to El Paso to see Sesame Street Live. She loved it!

Natalie's 4 Month Update

Weight: 14.3 lbs (50th% for weight)
Height: 25.5 inches (90th%tile for height!)
Sizes: Size 2 diapers, 6 mo clothes

Routine: Nattie Boo pretty much sleeps through the night only waking once or twice to nurse, but is still pretty much asleep (I am so lucky, I know!). She typically naps pretty good during the day doing 30 min- 1 hr naps here and there and a long 2 hr nap in the afternoons.

I took her to a new Doc who wanted me to try a no dairy diet again to see if that is what upsets her tummy. She said do no dairy for 4 days and on the 5th day eat a bunch of dairy. If she was fussy/gassy then she has a cows milk protein allergy. I did as recommended and about 12 hours after eating ice cream and cereal she was super gassy...so looks like no dairy for us! She also prescribed an antacid for reflux.

Likes/Dislikes: She has started playing with toys more. She absolutely loves Jenna. They have started entertaining each other.

Milestones: She rolled over from belly to back once a couple weeks ago. She was crying and furious that I had her on her belly and wasn't paying attention to her....then I went to pick her up and she was on her back! She hasn't done it again though :-)Maybe I gotta piss her off real good again? LOL
