popo agie campsite, lot #20
We needed some space. So we packed up the Cruze and headed to Lander, Wyoming. Sinks Canyon to be specific. Popo Agie campground to be even more specific.
It was beautiful, and perfect, and just what we needed. Yes, we accidentally went an hour in the wrong direction, and yes we only stayed for a short time, but the spot was amazing. We set up, swung in the hammock, chilled by the river, cooked dinner, played card games, slept in, took naps, read magazines, and hiked.
Here's a small photo reel of the weekend along with some of the things I noted along the way!
- Rivers: We didn't even listen to music - just the roar of the river. I LOVE rivers :)
- Coloring books: One of the items I ordered off Mercari recently came with a coloring book! I just sat by the river and colored.
- Whole foods: not the store - the actual foods. I have had so much anxiety lately and I think it's because I have been eating more shit food than whole food. Those chemicals don't do any good on my brain. A couple of days of real food and I already felt better :)
- Sunday sixers: speaking of chemicals...a six pack of beer on Sunday does my brain well too ;)
